Spirits Return: Cultural Traditions Keeping Memories Alive. This multicultural exhibit features seven cultural traditions by which people celebrate and honor their ancestor or loved ones who have passed on. The exhibit is divided in two main areas: the perimeter walls describe the origins to these traditions, as well as how they are celebrated locally, and the central portion focuses on individual families who share their personal altar, stories, and photos. Four areas of the exhibit were designed to encourage community participation: Tree of life, tell your story and post it on a magnetic wall, children’s corner, and a community remembrance space.

Project components: Identity, exhibit layout, graphics panels, advertising, direct mail and onsite during installation.
